Tired & Exhausted- the Linky Launch!

I was diagnosed 7 years ago with Fibromyalgia and since then, along with the pain, fatigue and brain fog which comes with this condition I have suffered from stares, whispers behind my back and plain rudeness to my face from people who obviously think because I look fine, I am fine.

Blogging in my PJ's during a mild flare-up
I am determined that this is the year that I do my bit, what little I can, from my corner of the internet to educate as many people as I can about Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and ME and any other similar conditions I hear about. I can shout, but if I can get people to shout with me more people will hear.

I know quite a bit about my condition and how it affects me. But I also know that for each person with a so-called invisible illness there is a completely different set of symptoms.

I would love it if anyone with, or affected by ANY invisible disease, would join up with my new monthly linky.  I plan to hold it during the first week of every month. In future it will go live on a Sunday but to be honest I couldn't wait to get this going so this month it will run for 7 days from NOW!

You don't need to ask if your condition is included - PND, SPD, mental illness, heart conditions - all these and any more are welcome. It doesn't need to be you with the condition - talk about your friends and family. Let them know you believe them - so many of us feel guilty and that people think it's all in our heads.

And your blog post does not need to be just about the condition that affects you - If it's only mentioned in passing in an anecdote about your week, in a review post about something that helps, in a picture, a poem  that sums up your feelings, that's fine.

Educational or entertaining, happy or sad, humorous or horrendous, posts and pictures and poems old and new - share, share, share and lets shout out and spread the word - we may be Tired & Exhausted but we won't take it lying down!

Please feel free to grab my badge and display either on your blog homepage and/or in your linked up blog post. I will RT anyone who does!

And don't forget, Linkys work best when people read other posts and comment - even if it's just the one above and below your post, please show those bloggers your support.

Thanks - Afra x
