Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas -in July.

Lily chocolate santas #christmasinjuly

This week I went out in blazing sunshine and temperatures topping 30 degrees into London where I tasted turkey and munched mince pies, in fact generally feasted on festive food.

People in the media know that Christmas in July is a thing but I often wonder what tourists and passers by make of the glimpses of snow covered Christmas trees at the various venues and people toting festively decorated bags. And I for one could not stop humming Christmas tunes all week.

Happy Christmas in July folks!

  2. oh yes, it won't be long now :) I have been invited to a few Christmas in July events but they have all been too far for me to travel. It's something I'd love but the closest I've got is having a Frozen party in July for my daughter, we even had fake snow!

    1. There was turkey and goose, mince pies and Christmas puds - there was even Christmas music playing.
