I admitted on Twitter recently that I am not a fun of anything pumpkin related. I hate the feel, taste and smell of them and don't even like pumpkin spiced latte. Sorry. (Not sorry.)
My kids however love to carve pumpkins for Halloween and I'll admit I like seeing candle glow in windows as the nights get dark so early so I put aside my disgust and tolerate an annual pumpkin carving session.
Imagine my delight when I discovered that children can enjoy a glittery pumpkin sculpting session free at Lewisham Shopping Centre in South London AND can take their creations home to adorn the doorstep, balcony or window.
No cost and more importantly no mess for me to clear up! There are some lovely costumed helpers getting into the spirit of things adding to the spooky atmosphere in the centre's Central Square.

The pumpkin carving is happening on Saturday October 27th between 10.30am-4pm in Lewisham Shopping Centre's Central Square. Everything you need from scoops to stencils is provided free but accompanying adults may need to help their children with sharp carving tools.
