There is no doubt that careers in social work can be very rewarding, both financially and psychologically. I seriously considered training in the industry myself before ending up in journalism.

Just think -you could be helping a lot of people, making real changes and affecting the future in more ways than you can imagine.

A career in social work can be very fulfilling for a number of reasons. For starters you will also be taught to care about yourself. self-care is an important trait every social worker is trained to focus on as well as helping others.

More importantly this is a field where you can feel very positive about a life where you hopefully will enjoy every minute you spend working to help others.
