These ones are the BiBs - The Brilliance in Blogging awards which will be presented at Britmums Live 2014 in the summer. I've already got my ticket to the event and although I think my blog is too small to be shortlisted I live in hope.
I've already talked about my need to win shiny things. The thing is you see blogging is a bit weird. I sit and write and hit publish and network but on the whole you really don't know what people think. Other bloggers are quite good at commenting but you still wonder- am I shouting into the abyss? Occasionally real life solid people mention a post I wrote, or tell me they enjoy my writing and it makes my heart swell with joy and pride.
You see I do this because I love it. Yes I get free stuff and occasionally even paid to write but what keeps me typing and sharing is the love of it. I am however a vain old cow and would love to think you people are actually enjoying my ramblings.
So without further ado I am going to be so bold as to suggest the categories I think my blog fits best. I am blushing as I type as it seems too "forward" but you have to be in it to win it so lets give it a go. The shortlisted folk last year got to go to Legoland for the day with their families and I would have LOVED to have been able to join in.
