This is a picture for The Black and White Photography Project and yes I realise it isn't entirely black and white. But I thought the effect made this giant poppy at Kings Cross so much more striking.
It's my first attempt at this type of editing ( I used Fotor Colour Splash) and I would have liked the poppy more vivid but I still like the contrast.
That's a huge poppy isn't it? I think it's more dramatic with some of the colour showing through, I too couldn't leave my B&W poppy photo truly B&W either
