Christmas is extra special for practicing Christians and sometimes extra-exhausting with lots of special services at this time of year. At the church my family attends our vicar plans in a "peaceful interlude" - a calm service based on the Iona Community's style of worship to give us chance to breathe and be still in the middle of the all the wrapping, shopping, celebrating madness.
At this year's service our vicar played us a beautiful song called "Mary Did You Know?" It has a gorgeous tune and wonderful lyrics which I wanted to share with you.
