While visiting my German friend last week we went to VW's Autostadt in Wolfsburg where they had created a Winter Wonderland complete with fake snow, ice skating and an ice show.
There was a carousel which we may have ridden quite a few times and traditional wooden chalets selling lots of lovely food. Lunch was Bratwurst and Belgian waffles. Yum!
More on my trip in a later post. This may involve much more talk about food, obvs!

Looks like lots and lots of fun!!
ReplyDeleteIt really was.
DeleteOh so jealous! That looks, and sounds, awesome. What did the fake snow feel like? I'm curious x
ReplyDeleteIt was a bit harder and icier than "real" snow but made good snowmen
DeleteI love this. I would never have guessed it was fake
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up
Well it comes out of a pipe like ice pellets so it probably is just frozen water! Or snow!
DeleteI agree with Darren. I wouldn't say it was fake! We went to a Christmas market yesterday with fake snow - from a snow machine :)
ReplyDeleteYes I suppose it was a snow machine. I've never seen one like it
DeleteGreat picture! I too wouldn't have known it was fake snow, it looks so real!
ReplyDeleteIt was odd because it was actually quite mild.
DeleteThat looks like an exciting place to be for a kid, I bet they loved climbing around that.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to have a go at tobogganing - it looked great fun!
DeleteWow! So lovely! I want to have a dip in that fake snow too! Looks like real fun to me! :)
