There is a reason that good chefs will only use their own knives. A good set of kitchen knives is vital for swift and efficient food preparation and if you have good knives you need a good knife sharpener.

It's very simple to set up in seconds out of the box.
Just find a flat surface which the suction cup can stick to. Most granite or laminate kitchen worktops will be fine. I have oiled wood worktops so I used the pull-down handle to attach the AnySharp Pro gadget to a firmly secured glass worktop saver.
Check the AnySharp Pro is stuck down firmly - dampen the base slightly if necessary - then simply glide your blunt knife backwards (from handle to just before the tip) three or four times. You only need to apply light pressure so no elbow grease required.
Finally wipe the blade (carefully!) with a cloth or kitchen roll to remove any filings. I gave my newly sharpened knife a wash and dried it with a tea towel too.
Voila - your knife should now cut like it is a brand new one.
I was very impressed with this useful little gadget and couldn't resist sharpening all of my knives. They are an expensive brand so it's nice to know I can keep them sharp with very little effort now.
