The Great Estate Festival is a family friendly music festival set in the grounds of a beautiful country house near Redruth in Cornwall where you are invited to enjoy a host of exciting, diverse and totally rambunctious performances from artists including DJ Craig Charles, the Manic Street Preachers, Drag queen Elektra Fence and Talulah Blue who specialises in burlesque, circus and more.
Billed as "the world's most rambunctious garden fete, this year the Festival falls on the Queen's Jubilee Weekend ( 2-5 June 2022) and what better way to celebrate Her Maj's reign than with music and dancing and fun and frolics? The festival organisers are aiming to beat the record for the most number of people wearing paper crowns which sounds great fun!
Expect the unexpected at this unique festival where you can forage for wild gin ingredients, join in some traditional garden games, enjoy a woodland silent disco and even get a tattoo! (some activities incur additional cost on top of festival entrance price)
Trust me - Alice in Wonderland's adventures will seem tame in light of some of the happenings at this event all set in amazing countryside in Cornwall, yet this festival is still suitable for children who have some exciting stuff in store too.
You can bring your own tent, camper van or caravan or book a glamping bell tent or a super cool, cosy shire hut complete with electricity, proper beds, heating and all home comforts.
Don't want to drive there? Get a train into Redruth or Truro then take a 1-15 minute taxi ride to the venue.

Usually tickets are sent out one week prior to event, or guests will be added to the guest-list for pass collection on arrival.
