A bar with a 360 degree view of London

I had a fabulous day on Saturday. I had been invited to a party to celebrate the 1st birthday of Nuffnang (my blog advertising company) in the UK at a rooftop bar in Hackney and decided to make a day of it with DH.

We drank prosecco and shared a Ginger Pig sausage roll at Borough Market, browsed Spitalfields, wandered down Brick Lane in the sunshine and DH tried his first ever salt beef Bagel (or Beigel as the shop spelled it) from a famous 24-hour bagel shop and then made our way by tube, overground, bus and foot to Hackney.

The party was at a venue called Netil360 and the entrance looked so dodgy that Nuffnang had to promise on the invite it would be better than it looked!

They were right - the views were amazing, the atmosphere buzzing with music and chat from a mix of ubercool people, bloggers and ubercool bloggers!

I was treated to yet more Prosecco and a gorgeous burger fresh from the rooftop barbecue and  particularly enjoyed the chance to write in a book about the past year of blogging and where I was hoping to go with my blog in the future. I might write a post about that soon....
