A phoneography giveaway - the perfect competition for people who like to use their mobile phone as a camera.

I am a member of a camera club but I'm going to let you in on my guilty little photography secret. Most of the photos I submit for other members to look at during our monthly meetings are not from my all singing, all dancing camera, but from my iPhone.

Ironically because it is so simple to focus, zoom and frame and add effects on my iPhone the pictures are often better than the ones from my "proper" camera.

And because my camera is quite bulky I often leave it at home relying on my trusty phone camera to take pictures at blog events and family days out. Oh and of course whenever I eat out. I am one of those people who likes to photograph their food.

That's the other great thing about phoneography -you can share your pictures directly from the mobile phone via email, message or social media.

Currently I sport an iPhone 5s but have been eyeing up the iPhone 6s and 6s plus as my upgrade is due in less than a month.

As blogging is my actual job I wanted to check out the spec on what will effectively be my mobile office, camera and vlogging tool. Sorry Android people but I am an Apple fanatic and cannot be torn from my beautiful iPhone so these are the only phones I have been looking at.

I originally thought I would choose the smaller sized 6s which has 12 megapixel camera and all the bells and whistles I need, but have been swayed by the extra battery life and optical image stabilisation on the 6s plus camera. Yes it's big but I will make space for it in my handbag!

Those of you who have attended photography sessions at various blogger conferences and workshops will know the quality of pictures on your blog can make it look much more appealing and professional.

There are a range of gadgets and accessories you can use which if you ever use your smart phone for photography, can make your site look so much more professional.

And even if you aren't a blogger why not make the best effort with your photographs to make your digital memories crystal clear?
