I don't normally share random press releases but how could I resist sharing this super cute picture of a ring tailed lemur beating the heat by enjoying an ice pop at Drayton Manor Park in Staffordshire?
Apparently the lemurs love these ice pops made by the zoo team using a variety of lemur-friendly ingredients. Not only do they cool them down nicely they have lots of fun too.
Chris Mitchell, Head of zoo operations said:" With the arm weather that we are currently experiencing we look for fun ideas that will not only cool our zoo residents down but also provide animal enrichment that will intrigue and excite them."
