Christmas trees at night

For three years now we've had a sustainably sourced Pines and Needles tree (gifted)  as the spectacular centrepiece of our festive decorations and have never been disappointed by the quality of the trees and their simply amazing staying power.

Pick the right tree and follow the simple care instructions and if you are Christmas crazy like me you can put it up on December 1, or even in November if you are truly Christmas crackers, and it will still be going strong as Big Ben chimes in the new year.

"Yes, marvellous" I hear you mutter, "but get on and tell us how we can get a free one."

Ok then, if you are a school, all you have to do is check you have a Pines and Needles pop-up store near you this year then if you do, click this link, read the details and fill in the form. If you are lucky you will be invited to order a tree free online or visit the store to get your free tree.

Pines and Needles may even be able arrange an educational visit to the store where staff members can talk about the trees. All they ask is that you help spread awareness about them via a school newsletter, email, flyers or social media.

If you are a charity, email sajel@pinesandneedles.com and tell him why you would like a tree this year.

Trees on offer range from 3-6ft and supplies are limited so get in touch with Pines and Needles ASAP with your application.

There are stores all across and around London. Last year we went and chose our tree in St Albans and I'm delighted to see this year there's a new store even closer to me at Wendover Woods in Buckinghamshire.

Wendover is a beautiful town and we have spent many a happy hour in the beautiful woods there. There's lots to do for the whole family, plenty of parking and a nice cafe too. You could make a day of it finishing up with choosing your tree.

As well as beautiful fresh trees in a variety of sizes and species you can pick up stands, lights, decorations, wreaths, holly and mistletoe from Pines and Needles stores.

Christmas items from Pines and Needles

You can take the tree home there and then or arrange delivery to suit you. For those who live outside London and the Home Counties panic not - Pines and Needles offer a countrywide courier service. They'll even decorate your tree and take it away after Christmas if you'd like them to.

We've always been delighted with our trees and can't wait for our trip to Wendover with the children to choose our tree. They absolutely love exploring to find the perfect tree for us and last year even named their tree and helped prepare it for delivery.
