Bryan Adams Announced as Headline Act for Cornbury Festival 2021

It was a sad day (among many) when we learned that because of that dratted coronavirus, the fabulous Cornbury Festival would not be going ahead in 2020. But like an early Christmas present we've just learned that event organisers have a cunning plan for the 2021 even as well as a big new Friday night headline act.

Cornbury Festival 2021

Yes, Cornbury Festival have confirmed that they will go ahead as a socially distanced festival 9th – 11th July 2021, unless pandemic restrictions are eased, the festival will adhere to all Govt guidelines to make the outdoor, Summer event Covid safe.

Things that could be in place, include one way systems, seated audience viewing, masks, extra cleaning and hand sanitising stations, additional boutique dining and waiter(ess) service at bars and food concessions. Along with clean camping and pre-booked camping plots within 2 metre spacing.

Festival organiser Hugh Phillimore is keen to hi-light that as a festival whose clientele are used to posh loos as standard, arena seating, fine dining and a certain level of comfort, some of the Covid safe additions, will not be too different from their regular VIP offering.  ‘If any festival can cope with social distancing and safety restrictions Cornbury can, we are a very civilised event!”

It's true - we never really felt overcrowded and although tent pitches are small they are not "Glastonbury tent wall touching tent wall" tight. We had plenty of room for a table and chairs outside, a barbecue and sunbathing space.

The line up is expected to remain much the same as originally intended for 2020, however a regular favourite at the festival BRYAN ADAMS has been confirmed as the Friday Night Headliner.
In the UK alone Bryan has had 12 top ten singles and still holds the record for the longest consecutive number 1 with (Everything I do) I do it for you which stayed at the top for 16 weeks in 1991.

So if you want a safe family friendly festival offering fantastic music and delicious food book now to secure your place as capacity will be smaller than previous years due to the changes  being made to ensure the event is Covid safe.

Early Bird Tickets are now on sale on the Cornbury Festival website. Day tickets cost from £85, weekend tickets from £180 and weekend  with camping tickets from £215. Under 3's go free and there are concessions for seniors, teens and children.

NB: All competition prizes & tickets purchased and retained for 2020 are now valid for 2021.
