When I drove back after visiting a friend last night there was actually mist forming in the country lanes leading to my village. The sun is more cheering than warming now and it's time to pack away the flip-flops and embrace the snuggly loveliness of autumn/winter.
I was very excited to be invited to choose some beautiful items from the latest Cotton Traders AW22 collection and already one of the pieces I chose has become an all time fave with loads of people admiring it.
This cute and comfortable pink corduroy jacket is so soft and goes with so many outfits. From country walks to evening trips to the pub (and watching Morris Dancers at a local Apple Fair!) I love that this cotton cord jacket gives me an extra layer of warmth but feels smarter than a cardigan or jumper.

I love this soft and light jumper, dubbed by Cotton Traders as the perfect Pointelle jumper.
Did you know that Pointelle describes the pattern on the knitwear with tiny holes typically in the shape of chevrons; the structure is geometric in shape and with repeated design similar to lace. It is a fine knit pattern with small open spaces, subtle stripe, and floral effects. The fabric is lightweight, airy, and of a very delicate nature.
This jumper comes in lime or amethyst. Personally I think describing it as lime is misleading as I always think of something shockingly green when I hear lime whereas my jumpers is a gorgeous soft green. However I suppose it is the colour of the outside of a lime so is accurate! This jumper is available in sizes 8-22 and would make a gorgeous gift in this season of celebrations.
The other jumper I chose is slightly heavier and more close knit but is still light, soft and very comfortable. The Stella Cutest Cable Jumper is available in dark pink, navy, ivory and Aegean blue in sizes 8-24 but be warned -if you want to snap up this gorgeous jumper you'll need to be quick as it's proving extremely popular.
